The Rogers Foundation provides a variety of support for educational endeavors, including: scholarships to individual students and artists in Southern Nevada; grants to public K-12 schools in Southern Nevada; financing for educational programs and initiatives in Southern Nevada; funding for statewide educational reform efforts.
The Rogers Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Founded in 2013 by Jim and Beverly Rogers, The Rogers Foundation awards scholarships to individual students in Southern Nevada, grants to educational institutions, initiatives, educators, artists, and organizations that support the arts in Southern Nevada.
Scholarships are available to assist students in pursuing higher education at colleges, universities, and other recognized academic institutions and trade schools. Applicants must be seniors in a Clark County high school.
Grants are available to support Clark County K-12 schools directly or non-profits that collaborate with one or more Clark County K-12 schools.
Please submit only the documentation required by the scholarship or grant application to which you are applying. We are not able to accept supplementary materials.
The Rogers Foundation does not fund other non-profit organizations' initiatives.
If you are a student seeking financial support for the pursuit of education, please see our Students page for eligibility requirements and application process.
We fund individual students, educational institutions, and artists and programs in the arts. We cannot provide funding to individuals groups who support institutions or want to raise funds in support of an institution; rather, institutions may apply on their own behalf.
Please see our Apply page for eligibility requirements and the application process. Scholarships and RFPs will be announced in September, with rolling application submissions from January to May. Rolling submissions allow for the review committee to respond to applicants in a timely manner so they do not miss opportunities associated with admissions, down payments, etc.
Scholarships shall be awarded yearly, and students may receive funding for up to four years. Funding is not limited to tuition costs, but may also cover room and board; however, distribution payments will be made semi-annually.
Scholarship guidelines for renewal require that the scholarship recipient complete an application annually, rather than permitting an automatic renewal of the scholarship. It is recommended that students reapply on an annual basis.
Required application materials are listed on the individual pages for the types of grants The Rogers Foundation provides. Criteria are also provided on the award overview pages.
Please see the award overview pages and read about how we assess and record grant and scholarship awards.
