The Rogers Foundation Achievers Scholarship

To encourage Southern Nevada’s best students to pursue their educational goals, The Rogers Foundation is proud to offer a total of $100,000 annually in new scholarships. We provide numerous scholarships each year for students wishing to pursue higher education, both within the State of Nevada and beyond; the scholarships are for students attending any institution of higher education, including vocational or technical schools, community colleges, or state universities.

  • $25,000 scholarship: This award is for $25,000 per year (renewable for an additional 3 years); this award may be used towards tuition at any institute of higher education, but is a fixed amount that cannot be increased to meet higher tuition and fees at the selected institution. One (1) scholarship will be offered.
  • $10,000 scholarship: This award is per year (renewable for an additional 3 years) to any institution of higher education. Five (5) scholarships will be offered.
  • $5,000 scholarship: This award is per year (renewable for an additional 3 years) to any institution of higher education. Five (5) scholarships will be offered.
  • $500 BASA scholarship: The Rogers Foundation-Chapman Dodge Book and Supplies Allowance — This award is for a one-time award that may be used by the recipient for books and or supplies at any institution of higher education. Ten (10) BASA scholarships will be offered.

The following eligibility requirements are for all four (4) scholarships listed above:

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Minimum ACT of 23 (composite) or SAT of 1150 (Essay is not included)
  • Must be a current high school Senior and/or 2018 graduate of the Clark County School District in Southern Nevada

Selection Criteria

  • Family income
  • Extra-curricular and/or community activities, i.e., athletics, music, church, service clubs, etc.
  • 2 letters of recommendation (from teacher, counselor, coach, supervisor, etc).
  • Response to essay question on the application (minimum-maximum word count 300-400)
