In honor of James E. Rogers, a Kentucky-born, long-time Las Vegas resident, The Rogers Foundation established the Kentucky Wesleyan Rogers’ Fellows Scholarship. It was open to college-bound residents of Southern Nevada who wished to attend Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Named in Princeton’s 2020 “Best of the Southeast” colleges, Kentucky Wesleyan College (KWC) is a small, private institution founded in 1858. With small faculty to student ratios (11:1), KWC offers courses of study in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services; Biological and Biomedical Sciences; Education; Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Related Protective Services; and Visual and Performing Arts, and others.
Through a multi-year partnership with KentuckyWesleyan College, these scholarships were accessible to Clark County students from 2016 through 2023. These scholarships are no longer offered.
